Coffee our way, party your way

One thing that sets our coffee apart is that our menu is based around the coffee itself. We purposely select high quality, locally roasted beans with an emphasis on single origin selections. Our style of coffee is for people who really appreciate the special part of specialty coffee.

We serve traditional sized drinks. Perfectly balanced ratios of espresso to milk to really highlight our amazing house espresso. Our bar is always stocked with house made, organic simple syrups, ready to add to whatever drink you’d like. We always have the go-to classic flavors and we have fun experimenting with seasonal flavors.

To make your event special you have the option to customize syrups and drinks. We love a good theme and work with you to create a menu you and your guests will love and remember.

Our set up is versatile. Our espresso cart is perfect for smaller events like showers, birthday parties, staff appreciation days, and corporate meetings just to name a few. It is best for indoor events, especially where you want to create a coffee shop atmosphere your people will feel comfortable in. While the cart does shine for smaller events, we can also easily serve the larger crowds from it too.

If you have the space though, Slow Hurry can show up in style from our ‘93 Starcraft pop up bar. The coffee camper is great for outdoor events where there isn’t access to electricity, or industrial spaces with garage doors that we can roll into and pop up. We can basically serve coffee anywhere and the more unique the more fun. Coffee goes with any occasion.

  • This service is the ultimate treat for your guests. The service is fully paid in advance for open bar service for your event. Each booking guarantees at least 2 hours of service and more time can be added for an additional fee.

    Pricing is based on guest count

    Prices start at $300

    * If your event is more than 75 miles away there is an additional travel fee

  • This is a great option if you are hosting a workshop or public event. You only pay the set up fee and your guests pay for their own drinks.

    Set up fee starts at $100

    * If your event is more than 75 miles away there is an additional travel fee

    *Set up fee is based on guest count and service time

  • This service includes a breakfast bar in addition to the full coffee bar. This a great option for corporate meetings, morning of weddings as a treat for your bridal party and family, or brunch parties. This event is ideal for smaller groups of up to 25 people but we can accommodate up to 50 people.

    Open Bar: $365 for up to 25 people

    Cash Bar: Set up fee $150 and guests pay for their own drinks and food

    * Additional charges for more guests

    * If your event is more than 75 miles away there is an additional travel fee

FAQ’S

HOW MUCH SET UP TIME DO YOU NEED?

Every event requires a minimum of 1 hour of set up before coffee can start flowing. Larger events may require up to 2 hours of set up.

DO YOU NEED ACCESS TO POWER?

Yes. For indoor events we need access to 1 electrical outlet (preferably within a few feet of where you’d like the bar set up. For outdoor events access to power does make it easier to have the bar running, but we can bring our own power if needed.

WHY DO YOU USE ONLY OAT MILK?

When creating the menu for Slow Hurry it was important for it to be as inclusive as possible for the consumer. It’s kind of annoying sometimes to have to worry about remembering to ask for non dairy milk, or if there is gluten, nuts, etc. when trying to decide what you want to drink at a cafe. Oat milk fits the bill for most people and more importantly, it pairs so nicely with the espresso we serve. Dairy milk can always be requested for private events.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY MENU?

Sure can! If you have a special flavor you just love, or you want “his and hers” (or whatever, we don’t judge) coffee drinks, or certain ingredients incorporated into your event menu it can totally happen. Let’s get creative.

MY VENUE HAS STAIRS, IS THAT OK?

Long story short, no. This was learned the very hard way. A few steps would be fine but anything more than some entry steps is going to make setting up the bar indoors very hard and unsafe. We can always easily set up outside the venue though if there is no elevator access.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes. A $50 non refundable deposit is required for all private event bookings regardless of cash bar or open bar option. This saves your date and allows us to begin working the behind the scenes stuff for your event. This deposit is deducted from your final bill.

WTF DOES SLOW HURRY MEAN ANYWAY?

It’s kind of a long story that has a couple different “meanings” but if you have about 25 minutes you can listen to my weird voice on a podcast episode with Roast! West Coast. I get real nerdy with it but the bottom line is, coffee has had a long journey, cared for by many people, before it makes it into your cup. Let’s honor that journey by slowing down and appreciating what we’re drinking and how it got there before we get back to our busy human lives.
